T4 W3 Reflection

Literacy

This week we did a slide of work on what we know about fossils It wasn't that challenging but some of the work was hard




This is my KVL chart and It was easy and we also did a what do we know about fossils and this is mine.


What are fossils?

 They are preserved remains of animals and older humans that have been died
How are fossils formed?

When plants or animals die in a watery environment and buried under mud and silt the animal or plant decomposes and the bones are left
What types of fossils are there?

mold fossils,cast fossils,trace fossils = ichnofossils
What are the most common fossils that are found?


Ammonite,brachiopod,
crinoid,Gastropod and a shark tooth.
Where are fossils found?


In the environment
How do we find fossils?

With archeologists
What information can we learn from fossils?

Lots
Find 2 interesting facts about fossils!

Some fossils can be Plants
And  animals
Find 2 pictures of 2 different fossils!
