My myth

This term for writing we are focusing on writing myths and legends  my myth is on the snow and how it is formed here it is.

Hockey

On the last Tuesday of term one we played in a hockey tournament and we won in a thrilling final against Karoro. the score was 3-0 to us Grey Main, the scorers were Me (Callum), Honor and Kaleb. I hope that next year our school could win too.

Maths week one

This week for maths we are working on area, perimeter and volume. We had a work book for our maths groups, it was quite hard but I have finished it. We also looked at the circumference of a circle and area of a triangle.     

Avengers end game

(SPOILER ALERT) (SPOILER ALERT)  


The Avengers was really cool, I watched it on Saturday.
My favourite part was the part when Black Widow dies but Hawkeye and Black Widow fight to die. Thanos dies twice, Thor kills him, and they all kill him.

There was a corny bit when all the girl superheros gang together
and say "We got her back" behind Captain Marvel.

This is the end of the Avengers series and Thors really fat.

WELCOME BACK TO TERM TWO!!!

Welcome back to my blog. 

This term we have lots on, we have our camp where we go to Hamner for three days. We do the Hot Pools , Tree climbing, Bike riding and orienteering.

We also have rugby union, rugby league, a football tournament. I'm looking forward to my holiday to France and England for a month, it's gonna be really fun.

Maths DLO

This week for maths.

We did percentages to fractions and the other way round. I will show you how to make percentages to fractions. Here is my DLO

Brunner mine site

This Monday we went to a place called Brunner Mine. It is an old site that had a big explosion that killed 65 men. Most were buried at the mass grave in the Stillwater Cemetery but some were burred at the Greymouth Cemetery because they are Catholic. Other people were buried at their family plots.


We had a really good time at Brunner thanks to the ladies from Shantytown we got to dress up and do role plays. We also did mimes from the book (the mines afire). We went for a walk around the Brunner site, looked at the site of the explosions and what used to be there. There was old coke ovens that had been turned into sheds, new beehive coke oven also we saw where the airway and where the air came in.
