Week 8

This Friday we had a colour day for all the Muslim community in Christchurch we raised $80.10  and we also feel very sorry about what happened.  

Week 8

This weekend I am going to Waimea to play a squash tournament and I am in a hard draw but I will try my best to win. I am a J1 but I am seeded fourth. last time there were like 250 people. 

Week 7

This week we did a poem on a colour I chose red and here is my poem

Red is blood dripping off your knee onto the ground.

Red is the inviting smell of red velvet cake wafting gently around my nose.

Red is strawberries freshly picked from a crop.

Red is the cherry that bursts with a sweet flavour.

This week we are also training for league, last year our school was unbeaten in Christchurch. We also had a tournament at Wingham Park and we won so we are hoping to win again this year.

Music

This week we did this we had to find our favourite song and explain why we liked it.

Week 6

This week we are starting to read our book the mine afire. about the tragedy of the Brunner mine, here his my slide on the book.

We also did Tech this week, I made a phone holder. First I had to bend all the sides in the vice so that the phone stays in the case. Then I had to drill a hole in the back and the in the holder, put it on my site and here is my phone holder.

Music

This week we did music we are learning the name of the notes. Like the semibreve the quaver the minim and the crochet. We made compositions with them here are mine.

Cricket

This week we were going to go to a cricket tournament but it was raining so it got called off till Monday so we've been training every day and working out our orders. most of us have improved  a lot and some of us are the same but I think we've got a shot at winning
